Instructor classroom presentations coupled with textbook readings and suggestive references connected to these classroom presentations\, will give participants a solid foundation and understanding of basic training techniques for adult learners and evaluation procedures for documentation of critical elements of law enforcement. \nTopics include: \n\nGoals and Training Objectives of an FTO Program\nLiability issues associate with an FTO program\nChallenges to the Field Training Officer\nFTO Competencies\nFTO Responsibilities\nOrientation of Trainees\nCounseling of Trainees\nEthics of an FTO\nEmotional Intelligence\nDocumentation and Recommendations.\n\nLOCATION/TIME: July 27 – 31\, 2020\, Courtyard by Marriott\, 460 Courtyard Street\, Granville\, West Virginia\, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily \nFEE: $495 per person. \nDISCOUNT RATE: Enroll two agency personnel at $495 per person and the third person is enrolled at half-price ($247.50) OR enroll three agency personnel at $495 per person and the fourth person is enrolled free. \nREGISTRATION: To register for this seminar\, please complete our online registration form by July 17\, 2020.
