DESCRIPTION:This program will focus on the composition and writing of investigative reports. It will provide a review of specifics which the report should contain. The program is recommended for personnel who desire to sharpen their skills. \nTopics include:  \n\nidentification of the essential elements of an investigative report\, to include the Who\, What\, When\, Where\, Why and How of an incident under investigation\nformatting an investigative report for a clear\, coherent statement of facts and is free from inconsistencies or contradictions\napplying the appropriate resources available to produce a professional looking and readable report\nproperly cross-referencing the investigative report to related statements by interested parties and/or evidence\nself-editing reports prior to supervisory review\nsupporting documents needed to clarify or amplify individual points or statements presented in the investigative report.\n\nDATE/TIME: November 15-16\, 2021 – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily. \nLOCATION: Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy  – 6130 County Drive\, Disputanta\, Virginia 23842 \nFEE: $295 per person\n \nDISCOUNT RATE:  Enroll two agency personnel at $295 per person and the third person is enrolled at half-price ($147.50).  Enroll three agency personnel at $295 per person and the fourth person is enrolled free. \nREGISTRATION: To register for this seminar\, please complete our online registration form by November 7\, 2021.
