A two-day seminar for Supervisory Personnel who are or may have to deal with “Toxic Employee(s)” or personnel who are affecting performance in the workplace. This course is ideal for those who have taken the previously offered "Moving up to Supervision" seminar. David Lang is currently a corporal with the Pennsylvania State Police and has been employed with PSP for fifteen years. Dave has served as a patrol trooper responsible for handling various patrol related functions. He has also served as a criminal investigator and investigated various crimes including homicides, robberies, sexual offenses and other crimes.
He is currently assigned to the polygraph unit were he is responsible for administering polygraph examinations for criminal investigations and assists with interview and interrogations of subjects. He is also responsible for administering polygraph examinations for PSP cadet applicants during the cadet selection process. He is also assigned as a Quality Control Officer responsible for peer review of PSP polygraph unit members. He also works as an inspector for Polygraph Law Enforcement Accreditation (PLEA) which is program that ensures law enforcement agency polygraph programs are employing standardized practices that provide a level of service that is ethical, professional and offers reliable results to the jurisdictions they serve. He is a current member of the American Association of Police Polygraphists.
Dave is also an instructor at the Delaware County (PA) Police Academy and provides classroom instruction to cadets based on Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education & Training Commission curriculum. Topics include criminal law, criminal procedure, civil law and drug law.
