Pennsylvania Police Records Management: Understanding of and Compliance to the Rules – Oct 23-24, 2023

Explicitly designed for Pennsylvania law enforcement personnel, sworn or civilian, assigned to the records unit within their agency. The focus of the course will relate to the maintenance of records in an efficient manner and in compliance with Pennsylvania laws and regulations. Topics covered include, but will not be limited to: 

(1) dealing with the public in terms of both public and exempt-type records
(2) copying of records
(3) laws and statutes to follow regarding the handling of your agency’s records
(4) resources available regarding the interpretation of applicable laws
(5) applicable and permissible fees
(6) handling sealed and/or expunged records
(7) rules and regulations regarding retention and destruction in compliance with Pennsylvania guidelines. The program will also assist new records personnel in becoming acquainted with the options available to them to make their job more manageable and less stressful.

REGISTRATION FEE/DISCOUNT RATE: $295 per person. 

Enroll two agency personnel at $295 per person, and the third person is enrolled at half-price ($147.50) OR enroll three agency personnel at $295 per person, and the fourth person is enrolled free.
