Sexual Assault Investigators Seminar – February 7-8, 2022

This seminar is designed specifically for the personnel assigned to conduct sexual assault investigations.   The course is designed specifically to incorporate legislative changes mandated by Senate Bill 434 that affected West Virginia Code 30-29-3 effective July 5, 2021.

• Trauma Informed Interviews
• Cognitive Interview Techniques
• Special Challenges Investigating Sex Offenses
• Investigative Techniques
• General Evidentiary Requirements needed to obtain convictions

DATE/TIME: February 7-8, 2022 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily

LOCATION: Buckhannon Police Department, 24 S. Florida St. Buckhannon, WV 26201

FEE: $295 per person
