Dealing with Toxic Employees
A two-day seminar for Supervisory Personnel who are or may have to deal with “Toxic Employee(s)” or personnel who are affecting performance in the workplace. This course is ideal for those who have taken the previously offered "Moving up to Supervision" seminar. It goes beyond that program's content to explore in-depth vital aspects and topics concerned explicitly with addressing and confronting personnel who are disruptive in the workplace. |

Miles Turner is in his 39th year in emergency services. Miles began his career dispatching for a volunteer EMS service. His assignments during his time in EMS included that of an EMS advanced life support provider and instructor, National Faculty for Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, and dispatching. He served a term as captain of his volunteer EMS agency.
Miles’ law enforcement assignments have included dispatching, 911 center supervisor and manager, patrol duties as a deputy sheriff and police officer, serving as a public information officer and webmaster, evidence custodian, intoxilyzer instructor, supervisor of a school resource officer program, law enforcement basic school coordinator, founding member of the honor guard, and tactical team medic.
Miles retired from field duties in 2016, but he returned as a part time employee in 2017. He serves currently as a supervisor, field trainer, and instructor with a Virginia law enforcement agency.
Miles has instructed and served as an expert witness on various emergency services topics across the U.S. since 1990. He resides in Richmond, Virginia.
