BASIC CRIME SCENE PROCESSING: November 29-30, 2021

This is a two-day program with the first day devoted to body fluids and the second to trace evidence. The first program is focused on the types of body fluids and their collection and analysis. Topics covered during this session include:
- scientific basis of body fluid examination
- blood and bloodstains and their collection
- seminal stains;
- other types of fluids such as saliva, urine, and fecal matter.
The second day provides discussion in this segment to include:
- trace evidence associated with clothing
- recovery of the clothing of the victim
- cloth fragments and impressions
- threads
- fibers
- hair
- soils, rocks, and minerals; and debris
DATE/TIME: November 29-30, 2021 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily

FEE: $295 per person
