A two-day seminar for supervisory personnel who are or may have to deal with “Toxic employee (s)” or personnel who are affecting performance in the workplace. This course is ideal for those who have taken the previously offered “Moving up to Supervision” seminar. It goes beyond that program’s content to explore important aspects and topics in-depth, specifically addressing and confronting disruptive personnel in the workplace. Topics include:

(1) The ultimate goals regarding problem employees
(2) The signs of a truly toxic employee
(3) Intervention techniques to be used regarding problem employees
(4) Resources available for supervisors
(5) Counseling (directive vs. nondirective)
(6) Necessary and appropriate documentation
