Management of the Criminal Investigations Function – September 23-24, 2021

This two-day seminar will provide new Investigative Function Supervisors with guidelines on how to effectively manage the operations of their unit as well as offer current updates for experienced Investigators and Supervisors looking to fine tune their management skills.

Topics covered will include:

• the difference in the roles of a uniformed operations supervisor to an investigative unit supervisor
• an understanding of the importance of case assignment and review.
• application of the principles of case management and follow up
• the principles of applying leadership and management techniques where appropriate.
• familiarization with the necessities of major case investigations
• measurement investigative personnel’s performance during field operations
• the common pitfalls and their avoidance during investigative operations
• monitoring investigative squad personnel’s activities to better performance

FEE: $295 per person
