PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS PERSPECTIVES ON THE PROCESS: November 15-16, 2021

This is a basic two-day seminar for investigators who have little or no experience or formal training in performing pre-employment background investigations. The seminar will focus on background investigations within law enforcement, security, or government organizations.

Topics include:

• importance of the pre-employment background investigation
• what may or may not be asked during an investigation
• federal laws relating to employment of the handicapped
• various resources that may be used during the course of an investigation
• pre-employment interview techniques
• various tests that can be used in background investigation

DATE/TIME: November 15-16, 2021 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

LOCATION: Bucks County Public Safety/Police Training Center, 1760 S. Easton Rd., Doylestown, Pennsylvania
