PROPERTY / EVIDENCE ROOM CUSTODIANS’ SEMINAR: November 19-20, 2020

This seminar designed to enable personnel who serve as evidence technicians within property rooms to design, implement, and maintain a property and evidence control system.
During the two days of instruction, topics to be covered include:
- job of the evidence technician
- use of forms as data gathering tools
- chain of custody
- packaging and submission
- access and security to the property/evidence room
- computerized tracking and bar-coding
- storage locations: general and specific
- notifications
- inspections, audits, and inventories
- temporary release
- final disposition and destruction of stored case evidence
INSTRUCTOR: Chief Michael Miller, Ventnor City Police Department (Ret.) and currently, President, Property Room Consultants, Inc., Ventnor City, New Jersey.
LOCATION/TIME: November 19-20, 2020, Bucks County Public Safety/Police Training Center, 1760 S. Easton Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily.
FEE: $295 per person.
DISCOUNT RATE: Enroll two agency personnel at $295 per person and the third person is enrolled at half-price ($147.50). Enroll three agency personnel at $295 per person and the fourth person is enrolled free.
