Statement Analysis and Review – Doylestown, PA

This program looks specifically at constructing written and verbal statements to identify deception and omission and the veracity of a witness or suspect. This program will provide the students with a fundamental and immediately usable method of reviewing written and verbal statements. Participants will learn:

(1) The use of context when used in statements

(2) Word choices when used during a statement

(3) The construction of the statement

(4) Indicators of deception and/or omission relating to details of a statement

(5) recognizing common phrases used by deceptive individuals

(6) dissection and identification of statements using color coding.

Students will use the practical application during the course with either a course-provided statement or they may bring statements they are currently reviewing to the course to use during the practical exercise(s).
