This seminar is designed specifically for the personnel assigned to conduct sexual assault, domestic violence, or physical or mental trauma investigations. Topics include:

(1) the Neurobiology of Trauma
(2) Trauma-Informed Interviews
(3) Cognitive Interview Techniques
(4) Special Challenges Investigating Sex Offenses
(5) Investigative Techniques
(6) General Evidentiary Requirements needed to obtain convictions
