Designed to improve the skills of call-takers and dispatchers needed to deal with life-threatening emergencies, crimes-in-progress calls, officer-in-trouble, and other situations in which immediate officer dispatch to the scene is necessary. Topics include:
(1) Roles and responsibilities of the telecommunicator
(2) The basics of gathering information
(3) How to prepare for, gather, and dispatch information to field personnel during natural and man-made disasters
(4) Officer safety issues
(5) Suicide and crisis negotiations for the telecommunicator
(6) Handling personal stress when these situations occur

REGISTRATION FEE/DISCOUNT RATE: $295 per person.
Enroll two agency personnel at $295 per person, and the third person is enrolled at half price ($147.50), OR enroll three agency personnel at $295 per person, and the fourth person is enrolled free.
